What Montessori means to us
The Montessori environment is one of freedom and responsibility, designed to maximize self- motivation and ensure self-respect in the child.
Our classroom environment is carefully prepared so that each child will find varied experiences, aimed at developing a specific concept or skill that the child needs to maximize his or her development. The teacher acts as the link between the child and the environment, to direct the child’s absorption of the materials.
The most important question to consider when selecting a Montessori school is how well it matches the expectations you have for your child’s overall education. Parents should seek out the best fit, not just for their child, but also for their family. Finding the right school for mom and dad is just as important as finding the right school for a child.
