Introduction

Since 1989, Sundance Montessori School has been
providing excellent education in a safe, warm, caring
environment, while recognizing and meeting the
individualized needs of each child. The
Montessori environment is one of freedom and
responsibility, designed to maximize self-motivation and
ensure self-respect in the child. Our
classroom environment is carefully prepared so that each
child will find varied experiences, aimed at developing a
specific concept or skill that the child needs to maximize
his or her development. The teacher acts as the link
between the child and the environment, to direct the child’s
absorption of the materials.

About Sundance Montessori
We are pleased that you are taking an active interest in our programs. The most important question to consider when selecting a Montessori school is
how well it matches the expectations you have for your child’s overall education.  No single educational approach will be right for all children.  Ideally,
parents should seek out the best fit, not just for their child, but also for their family; does a particular school share their family’s values and educational
goals, and are their expectations realistic?  Finding the right school for mom and dad is just as important as finding the right school for a child.
Once you have found a school that you love, remember the old adage: “It is not a good idea to try to fix something that is already working.”  Some
parents try out different schools for a year or two and then move on to another school.  They do it with the best intentions, but common sense tells us
that children educated in one consistent approach, and who grow up within one school community, tend to be more grounded and get more long-term
value from their school experience than children who have to adjust to several different schools.
What Parents are saying about Sundance Montessori School

Our oldest daughter spent three wonderful, inspiring years at Sundance, so it was only natural for us to choose Sundance for our second daughter
as well.
Sundance is not "just" a school but also a community. As parents we always feel at home there, and our help and input is always welcome. The
environment in Sundance promotes many values such as diversity, tolerance, creativity, and academic excellence.
Sundance is blessed to have teachers that are not only professional but also deeply dedicated to the kids and highly invested in bringing each and
every child to fulfill their potential. Personally, what affected our oldest daughter the most was to be able to learn to read at a very early age. Being
the bookworm that she is, this turned out to be the best gift Sundance could have given her. We are thankful for having Sundance in our life!
- Orna & Yoav

As a famiiy, we love Sundance Montessori, not only because of the strong academic curriculum and staff but also because of all the social and
emotional growth we have observied in our son. In just a few months, Sebastian has turned into a confident,  independent child with a profound
sense of belonging to his school, always interested on learning new things and sharing them with his peers and teachers.
Thank you Sundance Montessori!

I have been a parent at the Sundance Montessori School for four years and I have many wonderful experiences with this school. What I like most
about Sundance Montessori is their self-directed and self-discipiined learning strategy. Children learn to pick their activity and finish it at their own
discretion. This IS the best way to educate chiidren. My son started reading from the age of 4 - before   Kindergarten - and is ahead of his peers in
public school in math and science. The nourishing environment of this school helped my kids to be positive and motivated. Sundance Montessori is
my kids' second home
.

Sundance has been so much more than just a school for our chiidren. They have developed social graces and internal motivation that serve them in
every part of their lives. It is so rewarding to watch your child develop interests, to have those interests nurtured by their teachers, and then to own
that knowledge that they earned and cultivated for themselves. This is a gift that they will use for all their lives.
